Day 17 - little children

Luke 18:15-17

Now people were even bringing their babies to him for him to touch. But when the disciples saw it, they began to scold those who brought them. But Jesus called for the children, saying, “Let the little children come to me and do not try to stop them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.”

Today and every day I am thankful...

171. For Christ's example

172. for Holt's room full of little boys and spend the night parties

173. for eavesdropping on the conversations between 6 and 7 year old little boys - I wish I had kept a tally of how many times the word, "dude" was used during the course of the night.

174. for flashlights and a crisp cool night for playing flashlight tag

175. for little boys saying "force field" every five minutes

176. for uncontrollable laughter from a car full of boys

177. for visible joy on Holt's face

178. for Jonathan's gentle way of reminding me to lighten up

179. for watching a whole passel of boys watch a funny movie

180. for Loretta Lynn
